The RFMET model chassis is a mid-engine tractor with a single or two-person in-line cab that accommodates a front elevating service platform.
THE RAMP STAR RFMET MODEL©
Developed for customers requiring tractor-trailer type equipment, with the need for larger uploads of fuel but designed especially for the Aircraft Refueling market. The RFMET chassis has many of the same features and components as our RFRD chassis. We work closely with the body-builder to accommodate the liquid fifth wheel and the pumping system options.
CUSTOMER-CENTERED DESIGN
The RFMET Model features a design capacity of 78,750 lbs. It can be used with a 15k to 18k gallon trailer. Equip with the heaviest frame in the industry with added reinforcements and a heavy-duty front bumper for protection and extended life expectancy.
SAFETY & MOBILITY
Chassis designed for safety and enhanced maneuverability around airport ramps. The aluminum one or two-person in-line cabs, designed for maximum visibility and operator comfort. Additionally, the vehicle's speed is limited to under 25 mph for increased security.
RFMET ADD-ON OPTIONS
Available add-on options are as follows: cold weather protection for the engine, third battery for cold-weather starting, air conditioning, optional Gorman Rupp product pump, two-person in-line cab, and any unique options are available upon request.
