| Engine & Accessory has been in business in Miami, Florida since 1950. The company started out in the industrial engine rebuilding business and later moved into complete truck repair and rebuilding. By the ‘70s, the company grew to specialize in aviation refueler repair and refurbishment. With the knowledge gained from working on aviation equipment the company began to design and manufacture a new style custom chassis for the aircraft refueling industry in the late ‘80s. With the success of the chassis the product line grew to a wide variety of refueler chassis’ used by several of the major oil companies and airlines. With the continued growth of the company and increasing demand on production, our current facility was rapidly becoming obsolete, therefore beginning in early 2000, the company began construction on a brand new state of the art production facility to meet the demands of our customers in the years to come. In 2001, Engine & Accessory was proud to announce the company would start building and assembling tank trucks to serve the refined fuel, heating oil, chemical transport, vacuum, and fire industries throughout the United States. These lines would grow and establish the company in each of these markets while successfully diversifying the company. Today, the three generation family-owned business has a legacy of quality manufacturing and personal service. This tradition is enhanced by new product development through innovation and design. | ||
